The decision
Some outdoor work cannot stop halfway. Asphalt laid before rain has to be torn up. A lift has to be finished or safely set down. Hay cut and left wet loses its value. A stormwater gate has to be set before the inflow arrives. The supervisor decides at the start of the shift, and again every hour, whether the next three hours stay dry enough to begin.
The cost is on both sides: an idle crew and equipment when the rain never comes, or rework and risk when it does.

Odeai forecasts rain rate over the site in 10-minute steps, three hours ahead, refreshed every 10 minutes.
- Go or wait: whether a dry window long enough for the task is expected at the site.
- Time to stop: when rain is expected to arrive, so work can be closed out safely.
- Restart: when the rain is expected to end, so the crew is ready when the ground is.
